STRING THEORY

The String Theory is an upbeat acoustic duo featuring violin and guitar. The duo offers a wide variety of songs and styles making them a great addition to any celebration. The duo works closely with couples to accommodate their song selection ranging from classical wedding traditionals to more contemporary songs played as instrumentals for ceremonies and the like. (Ex. U2, Coldplay, Jason Mraz, Christina Perri, Dave Mathew’s, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and more).

No songs are off limits, as the String Theory continues to fulfill requests and make wedding days even better than imagined through the element of live music for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours and first dances.

The String Theory has been playing together for 7 years and does a wonderful job of complimenting each other both on and off the stage. They have become an increasingly popular act for weddings, private events, wineries, breweries, and bar restaurants. In recent years, weddings have become a huge focus as they specialize in both wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours, often times being hired to play both. Even an occasional reception is not outside of their capabilities. They were published in the Pittsburgh City Paper, Oct 2020 as one of the best Alt-Folk Bands, worth the drive, as they often play in and around the Greensburg, PA area.

This amazing duo is comprised of two members. Timothy Camarote, on rhythm guitar, who is recognized for his dominant lead vocals. As well as Brendan Kuntz who is responsible for leads and harmonies using the unique sounds of violin, ukulele, and vocals. Together, covering Tom Petty's Mary Jane's Last Dance is a perfect example of their tight vocal and stringed harmonies. Although they are in fact a duo, the amount of energy and interest they bring to their shows is both interactive and captivating as they additionally add percussion tracks to some of their songs giving them the sound of a full band.

From their relaxed sets, to their upbeat party music to some occasional fiddle tunes, you are sure to be entertained by their renditions of so many of the songs you know and love. Their diverse genres range from oldies, to rock, alt rock, 90s, folk rock, hip-hop, dance and pop. There is a little something for everyone.

The String Theory is an excellent way to add live music to your day and make it even more remarkable.
